FAQ'S/Unit Information
Our Rad Academy program has very few limitations as it is aimed for beginner/first time riders. As long as your little ripper is ready to learn and have a whole bunch of fun while we are at it, we will be ready to go.
In order to sign up for the GasGas MC-E5 (electric dirtbike) we do ask that your child can ride a pedal bike with no training wheels, or can balance on a strider without having to use their feet for stability.
Each bike comes with multiple modes that only we can manually adjust, making it ultra safe for everyone to start out on. We always start the lesson on the “mellow mode” and can adjust it per rider if we see suitable.
The team at GasGas Motorcycles Canada has set us us with all the RAD protective equipment that your child will need! Each bike rental comes with the gear that will be needed to safely partake in Rad Academy. It is possible to bring your own gear if wanted as long as it has full body coverage.
Please see our unit information for any details that you may need regarding our three rental options. We will make sure that your child is the apprpriate size for all models on the day of your session so there are no worries about potentially making the wrong choice. Any instructor involved in Rad Academy is required to have their Canadian Red Cross First Aid Certificate, as well as the USMCA (United States Motorccyle Coaching Association) certificate.
We offer full 100% refunds on all Rad Academy sessions as long as there is more then seven days before the allocated time slot. If we are within seven days of your booked time, there is no refund available.
